I really loved this album, I feel like this is a complete collection of Drake being in his Hip-hop bag, with intricate schemes that you don’t typically get with his newer work. He rightfully had a lot to get off his chest but it was also a way for his listeners and long time fans to realize that he finally gets it that in this game there is no true friendship and when you are at the top you’re bound to have more enemies. These themes are very prevalent in songs like “Firm Friends” and “ Make Them Know”, but at the same time you get the throwaways that end up growing on you with more listens like “Little Birdie” and “Shabang”. Say what you want about the him but you can’t deny the numbers and the hits and to dominate the game for 15 plus years and still be feeding your fans is respectable.
